- The risk of her getting cancer is very high. So she loses her natural breasts (and gets fake ones)...even if she's wrong, they're only breasts. We don't need them to live. She's likely saved her life. The cancer she'd likely have gotten would have killed her before age 60.

- I know of at least two instances where this procedure was covered by insurance plans...I guess because it's preventive. But I realize there are many with little or no healthcare. The cost of their treatment, if they get cancer, will be far higher than if they had this procedure as an option.

- They're flying the wrong flag. That's the flag of a divided Ireland. The true irish flag is all green with a harp in the center. The color orange symbolizes William of Orange, who treated Ireland like his own personal toilet.

- Dawgfan, both democrats and republicans cheat on their wives and behave immorally, the difference is that democrats don't claim to be moral and then judge everyone else. The GOP sits on their high horse and invades everyone's bedrooms with their policies....then turns around and acts immorally.

- I can see the guy's point, to a degree...there's a lot of "fat acceptance" going on. I think people are redefining the new normal because most people are fat. For instance, a lot of women call themselves "curvy" when they are really clinically obese. Fat does not equal curvy.

- I know this isn't relevant and I think this man is a hero, but people really need to learn the correct definition of "mortified". Mortified mean "very embarrassed". Sorry, it's a pet peeve...people mix up the word "mortified" and "horrified" a lot.

- I agree. I think the child needed to lose weight, but the way the mother did it will likely lead to future eating disorders.
